OBITUARY
 
Lucy Pemberton was born February 12, 1914, in Los Angeles, California.  At the 
age of five years she moved with her parents to Payette, Idaho, where she grew 
to womanhood.  She attended the Payette schools and was a favorite among her 
classmates.  March 20, 1930, she was married to Archie E. Doersch of Weiser.  
They moved to Twin Falls and lived there until November 1, when they returned 
to Payette and lived with her mother.
 
Monday May 4, she was taken critically ill and was rushed to the Ontario 
hospital, where she died Tuesday, May 5.  An infant daughter preceded her a 
few minutes in death.
 
To know Lucy was to love her.  Her sweet smile and sunny, unselfish 
disposition won for her the hearts of all who knew her.  She leaves her 
husband, mother, one sister and one brother in Payette, two sisters in 
Colorado and two sisters in Weiser.
 
Funeral services were conducted at the Christian church on Thursday for she 
and the baby, and they were buried in Weiser.
 
Six young men, friends of her husband acted as pall bearers.
