Dressler Services for Mildred E. Dressler, 93, of Payette, who died Friday, Nov. 16, 1984, at an Ontario hospital, were conducted Monday, Nov. 19, at the Shaffer- Jensen Chapel in Payette, with Pastor Allen Hull of the Payette First Baptist Church officiating. Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery at Payette. She was born Sept. 28, 1891, at Central City, Neb., the daughter of Josiah F. and Esther Kelley Dressler. She came to Payette in 1906 and graduated from Payette High School in 1908. She taught school in Harper and Ontario before attending Albion Normal School where she graduated from the University of Washington at Seattle in 1928. Miss Dressler received her Master’s degree from the University of Utah in 1929. She was principal of the high school in Tekoa, Wash. For five years. Her teaching career spanned the years of 1918 to 1963. In 1965, she moved to Klamath Falls and to Payette November 1978. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Klamath Falls. Survivors include three nephews, Ray T. Watts and Roy G. Watts, both of Payette and Lewis D. Watts of Tacoma, Wash.; and numerous grandnephews and grandnieces.
