Memorial Rites Held for Mrs. Drysdale

NEW PLYMOUTH-Memorial services were conducted Wednesday at the Congregational 
church in New Plymouth for Mrs. Ruth Drake Drysdale, 83, a former pioneer 
resident who died February 8, in Portland. 

Born December 23, 1884, in Northfield, Mass., she was married to William T. 
Drysdale in Denver, Colo.  They came to New Plymouth in 1905, moved to 
Milwaukee, Wis., in 1931 and later to Boise.  She was a member of St. Michael’s 
Episcopal Cathedral in Boise.  She moved to Portland in 1965.  Her husband died 
in 1948.  A son, Robert, died in 1963.  

Surviving are two sons, William and Harold Drysdale, both of Portland, and a 
daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Campbell of Takomo Park, Md.

Memorial services were held Saturday afternoon at Grace Memorial church in 
Portland.  

Additional Comments:
Burial was at Park View cemetery in New Plymouth.
