Services Conducted For Former Resident

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday for Fred. L. Eldredge, 65, who 
died at White City, Ore. December 21.  He was a former Fruitland and Payette 
resident.  

Mr. Eldredge was born May 7, 1895 at Dunlap, Kansas and first came to Fruitland 
in 1909.  He had resided at Fruitland since, except for brief periods in other 
communities.  

He was a member of the Fruitland Church of the Brethren and was a veteran of 
World War 1.

Surviving are one daughter Miss Suzie Eldredge, Chatanooga, Tenn., three 
brothers, Frank Eldredge of Fruitland, Tom Eldredge, Nyssa, Ore., and Glenn 
Eldredge of Boise and six sisters, Mrs. Mabel Bingaman of Fruitland, Mrs. Lyle 
Brown of New Plymouth, Mrs. H. R. Curtis of Boise, Mrs. Mattie Sargent of 
Corvallis, Ore., Mrs. Clara Sargent, Meno Park, Calif., and Mrs. Margaret 
Metzler, Athens, Greece.

Services were conducted at the Shaffer Chapel at Payette and interment was at 
Riverside cemetery.
