John Emigh Called By Death

John J. Emigh, 70, a well known local carpenter died at his home here Wednesday 
of last week following a long illness.

Funeral services were held at the Shaffer Memory Chapel Saturday afternoon at 2 
o’clock with the Rev. Harold Jacks of the Church of God officiating.  Interment 
was in Riverside cemetery.

John Jacob Emigh was born in Pawnee county, Nebr., March 21, 1878.  He was 
married in Meda L. Johnson in Jewell county, Kansas 41 years ago.  Besides his 
wife Meda, he is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mary Johnson of Formosa, Kans., 
and several nieces and nephews.  
(Burial was at Riverside cemetery)
