H. Farber passed away on Thursday afternoon, January 17 at her home on First Avenue South following a long illness. Funeral services were held Saturday morning at the Payette Methodist church with Rev. K. Ubbelhode in charge. Interment was made in the Riverside cemetery. Mrs. Farber was well known in Payette during the many years that she resided in this city. Margaret E. McClure Farber was born January 9, 1870 in Pennsylvania and in 1890 with her family moved to Neligh, Nebraska where she was married in 1891 to W. H. Farber. Mr. and Mrs. Farber and their family moved to Idaho in 1911 where the former established one of the leading dry goods businesses which is now being operated by their son, Earl R. Farber. Deceased is survived by her husband, three sons, Earl R. Farber of Payette; Lou J. Farber, of Weiser and Ralph B. Farber of Emmett; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
