Farra PAYETTE - Services for Flora S. Farra, 73, Payette, who died Monday at an Ontario hospital, were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette, by the Rev. Gale O'Neil of the First Baptist Church. Graveside services will be conducted by Harmony Rebekah Lodge No 20 of Payette, at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weiser. She was born July 22, 1903 in Indiana. The family came to Payette when she was a young girl and she graduated from high school there and attended Normal School in Boise. She taught school at Indian Valley, Midvale, and Cambridge. She was superintendent of schools of Payette for several years. She married John Roy Farra Nov. 14, 1942, at Payette. They owned and operated Farra's Western Wear in Ontario for several years. He died in 1964. Mrs. Farra was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Business and Professional Women's Club of Payette, Harmony Rebekah Lodge No. 20, and the Payette County Historical Society. Surviving are a stepdaughter-in-law, Ida Farra at Hepner, Ore.; a stepgrandson, James Farra of California, and three nephews, Daniel W. Davis of Tokyo, Japan, Lyle D. Wisbey of Taulsbo, Wash., and Carol D. Wisbey of Oak Harbor, Wash. She also was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
