James Earl Ferrel
 
PAYETTE - James Earl Ferrel, 80, Payette, died Thursday at his home after a 
short illness.
 
Mr. Ferrell was born June 24, 1891 in Glenwood, Iowa.  He had lived in Payette 
for the past 27 years coming to Payette from Blackfoot.
 
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Carol) Neel, Orangevale, Calif.; four 
brothers, Cecil, Harley and Glen Ferrel, all of Payette, and Ivan Ferrel, 
Boise; two sisters, Mrs. Hilmer (Joy) Peterson, La Grande, Ore., and Mrs. 
Pearl Clopton, Payette; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
 
His wife, Jessie, preceded him in death in 1927 and a daughter, Joy Erlene 
Goff in 1959.  
 
Services were conducted at 2 p.m. today at the Payette Chapel of the Roses by 
the Rev. A. E. Rainwater.  Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at 
Grove City Cemetery in Blackfoot.
