Fields, 56, of New Plymouth, died at an Ontario hospital late Sunday evening. Services were held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Shaffer chapel in Payette. The Rev. R. L. Williams officiated and interment was at Rosedale Memorial park in Payette. He was born Feb. 10, 1903, at Rogersville, Tenn. and lived near Payette from 1930 to 1948, when he moved to New Plymouth. He married Lena Belle Keister on April 6, 1943, at Weiser. In addition to his wife, of New Plymouth, he is survived by a son, Willard, Caldwell; a daughter, Mrs. Grase Haskins, Lime, Ore.; four grandchildren; his father, John Fields, and step-mother, Mrs. Fannie Fields, both of Payette; a step-son, Clifford Drake, Bend, Ore.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Ona Mae Blumenthal, Pocatello; four sisters, Mrs. Tillie Lipsett, San Jose, Mrs. Belle Oliver, Anderson, Calif., Mrs. Ruth Solomon, Payette, and Mrs. Virginia Stepp, Ontario; and four step-grandchildren.
