Rites Held For Fruitland Girl
PAYETTE-Miss Janeal Fitzsimmons, 19, died Monday morning in her home in Boise 
of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Coroner Earl Alden said Miss Fitzsimmons, a 
second year student at Boise Junior college, had been despondent for some time, 
according to her family. 
Miss Fitzsimmons was born April 23, 1938, in Kansas. She had lived for 12 years 
in Fruitland, graduating from Fruitland high school.
Survivors include her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Fitzsimmons of Fruitland; a 
brother, John Fitzsimmons of Boise; and three sisters, Mrs. Robert C. Waggoner 
of Boise, Mrs. Wade Hilliard of Houston, Tex., and Helen Fitzsimmons of 
Fruitland.  Services were conducted today (Thursday) at the Shaffer chapel with 
Rev. Raymond Thompson of Fruitland officiating. Interment was in the Riverside 
cemetery in Payette.
