J. FRAZIER DIES IN GERMANY Was Previously Reported Missing In Action Pvt. Jim Frazier of Payette, who was previously reported missing in action, was killed in action in Germany March 23, according to a telegram received from the War Department Wednesday morning by his mother, Mrs. Lulu Frazier of this city. Pvt. Frazier came to Payette with his parents when he was a small boy and attended the public schools of this city and Fruitland. He left for service with Battery C, local national guard unit and re-enlisted for service on Dec. 14, 1941. He was first attached to a military police unit and remained in this country until last September when he transferred to a company of engineers and went overseas. He was serving with the latter unit when he was killed in action. He is survived by his mother of Payette and a sister, Mrs. B. J. Morton of Pueblo, Colo. His father passed on about three years ago and a sister died about a year later.
