Word was received the first of the week of the death of M. J. Gardiner in 
Omaha, Neb., Sunday afternoon, May 5. He had been in an automobile accident a 
short time before and had his knee cap broken but was recovering when he 
suddenly passed away. Death was caused by heart failure. The Gardiner family 
formerly lived near Sunnyside school house but moved to Omaha about two years 
ago. He leaves to mourn his loss a wife and five sons.
