James B. Golden died Monday morning at 10:30 o'clock at his home in Washoe, as 
a result of stomach trouble with which he had been a sufferer for a long time. 
The funeral took place from the family residence Tuesday afternoon at 2 
o'clock, Rev. G. L. Surber officiating, and the remains were laid to rest in 
Riverside cemetery.

The deceased was 60 years of age and a native of New York. He had been a 
resident of the Payette Valley for 10 years, having come here from Oregon.
