Military Funeral For Grey Monday
 
John Everett Grey, 66, of Payette, died at his home here Wednesday afternoon 
following a long illness.
 
Mr. Grey was born on July 15, 1891, in Berlin, Md. & was married to Dasie 
Streed at Wheatland, Wyo., on Nov. 9, 1920.  They came to the Payette 
community from Wheatland 22 years ago and lived here for five years before 
moving to Moscow where they resided for 10 years.  They then returned to 
Payette and had resided here since.  Mr. Grey was a veteran of World War I, a 
member of the Congregational church, the American Legion and the Independent 
Order of Odd Fellows.
 
Surviving in addition to Mrs. Grey are two sons, Capt. Donald K. Grey of 
Augusta, Ga., and Alan E. Grey of San Pedro, Calif., and four grandchildren.
 
Services were conducted Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Shaffer Memory Chapel with 
Rev. Charles Easley officiating.  Interment was at Rosedale.
