HARMON PAYETTE - Fred Warren Harmon, 67, of Payette, died Tuesday at an Ontario hospital. Services were conducted Friday at 10 a.m. at the Bible Baptist Church in Payette, by Rev. Douglas Field. Interment followed in Riverside Cemetery at Payette, under direction of the Shafer Jensen Chapel in Payette. He was born June 10, 1911, at Bristow, Okla., where he was reared and educated. He married Edna Thompson on Sept. 30, 1933, at Pryor, Okla., where they lived until 1945, when they moved to Payette. He worked as a Ford tractor mechanic for many years. Surviving are his wife of Payette; two sons, John of Ontario and Ray of Pocatello; a daughter, Wanda O'Dell of Ontario; a brother, Robert Harmon of Tulsa, Okla., five sister, Sylvia Nicholson and Goldie Ingle, both of Payette, Lorraine Bivens of NuAcres, Lottie Stimson of Farmersville, Calif., and Lillie Weatherby of Brentwood, Calif.; 14 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter.
