M. Royston, in Fruitland, on Thursday morning at seven o’clock, death due to leakage of the heart. She has been ill since in July yet her death caused universal sadness in the community where to know her was to love her. She nine years of age and had lived most of her know her was to love her. She was 9 had been ill since July and yet her death caused immeasurable grief here. The funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at two o’clock at the M. E. Church and was overflowing. The floral tokens were beautiful. Rev. Todd conducted the services, a quartet sang. Misses Josephine Pardum, Fern Wilfong, Marguerite Waite and Marian Kinsey, of the M. E. Sunday School were pall bearers. The little one was laid to rest in Riverside cemetery, Payette. She leaves a farther, mother, little brother, Jack, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her loss. (Note-Obit is transcribed as written.)
