Funeral Services For S. T. Hartung
 
Funeral services were held here Wednesday morning at the Landon-Shaffer Funeral 
home for Samuel T. Hartung, a long time resident of Payette who died at 
Pocatello Monday.  The Rev. Wayne Sundquist of the Christian Church was in 
charge. 
 
Mr. Hartung was born in Halbur, Iowa, May 11, 1884 and spent 49 years of his 
life in Idaho.
 
Two sons preceded in him death, one of whom was killed while in service on 
Saipan during World War 11.
 
He is survived by two brothers: Charles of Payette; and William of New Plymouth 
and one sister, Mrs. Mayme Dorathy of this city.
