Higley PAYETTE-Services for Parmell L. Higley, 85, Payette, who died Monday, Sept. 16, 1985, in a Weiser nursing home, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the 8th Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Burley. Interment will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery, Burley, under direction of McCullough Funeral Home, Burley. Local arrangements are under the direction of Payette Chapel of the Roses. She was born Aug. 5, 1900, at Sumpter, Ore., the daughter of Charles and Bertha Crabill McCord. She was raised and educated at Weiser. She married Stacy V. Higley Sept. 4, 1923 in Ogden, Utah. He died in 1965. She moved from Burley to Payette in 1980. Mrs. Higley was a retired school teacher, having taught school for 30 years. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints. Survivors include two sons, Robert D. Crow of Plymouth, Wash., and Charles “Bill” Higley of Albuquerque, N. M.; four daughters, Mrs. Otta “Connie” Heinze and Mrs. Jake “Shirley” McCaslin, both of Payette; Mrs. Alvin (LaRee) Dudley, of Mountain Home and Mrs. Jarrol (Verna) Jeppeson of Green River, Wyo.; a brother and three sisters, 30 grandchildren and 50 great grandchildren.
