The community was shocked to receive the news of the death of Mrs. J. J. 
Homan, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Mathews.  She passed away on Friday 
evening after an operation.  Mrs. Homan was a graduated of New Plymouth high 
school and was a splendid christian young woman.  She was in New Plymouth this 
summer attending the Mathews family reunion.  Interment was made in her home 
town of Bunker Hill, Kansas.
