Heiser was born in Indiana in 1875, and died at her home in Fruitland, June 20, at 9 p. m., at the age of 55 years. She was stricken with heart trouble last November and never recovered. Last Tuesday she suffered a paralytic stroke and sank rapidly after that. She became the wife of L.G. Hooley in the fall of 1898. In this family were born 5 children, one son having preceded her in death in Kearney, Neb. These were all at her bedside when she passed away. Mrs. Hooley had been a member of the Methodist church for more than 25 years. The family came to Fruitland in 1912, and have resided on their ranch just north of town ever since. Mrs. Hooley was a good neighbor and kind friend, and endeared herself to all who knew her. The whole community grieves at her passing. Funeral services were held from the M. E. church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 conducted by Rev. George Roseberry and interment made in Park View cemetery in New Plymouth.
