R. McClure on River Street, following an illness of three weeks. He underwent an operation for sinus infection at the Ontario hospital about three weeks ago from which he failed to recover. He was the only child of Mrs.. Levina Rebecca Hopkins who came to Payette with her son about one year ago. His father, James Speed Hopkins, died at Kuna, Idaho, about a year ago, since that time they have lived in Payette. Guy graduated from the Payette high school with the class of 1929, and was one of the favorites among the young people. He was also one of the principal players on the Payette high school football team. His body will be taken to Kuna Saturday morning and funeral will be on Sunday afternoon. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved mother and other relatives.
