G. Kobold, June 21, 1922. On Dec. 17, 1868, she was married to Thomas M. Hoppile who preceded her to the heavenly land 12 years ago. In 1872 they moved to Colfax county Nebraska where they went thru the hardships of pioneer days. They moved to Thomas, Okla. in 1906, where she made her home. Mrs. Hoppile was the mother of eight children, three of who died in early childhood. The remaining five children with their companions, 16 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two sisters survive to mourn their loss. The children are Mrs. Arlington Groat of New Plymouth, Elmer L. of Orchard, Nebr., Mrs. Chas. E. Cain of Cedar Rapids, Nebr., Floyd J. of Thomas, Okla., and Mrs. Henry Hobold of Gooding, Ida. The sisters are Mrs. Charlotte Hudson of Peabody, Kans, and Mrs. Clista Pulver of Richmond, Ind. Mrs. Hoppile was converted at an early age and became a member of the Rochester Baptist church, living a consistent Christian, raising her children to love her God and they are all prepared to meet her when the time comes.
