Leo Howe, of Fruitland, with Rev. Hall K. Wallis officiating. John was born at Wood River, Nebr., April 7, 1907, where he lived until in December 1919, when he came with his parents and the rest of the family to Fruitland, where they have since resided. The first eight years of his school life were spent in Wood River, and after coming to Fruitland attended school until he finished the junior year in high school. A lingering illness which began a year previous to this compelled him to leave school and remain home. Death came quietly early Sunday morning. In the days of his health he mingled freely with the young people making a host of friends, who have greatly missed his companionship the past few years. A life though brief in years may be great in his influences. Interment was in the Ontario cemetery. He is survived by his parents, his sister, Edith, and one brother, Carl. The Howe family have the deepest sympathy of the entire community. Note: He is buried at Evergreen Cemetery, Ontario, Malheur Co, Oregon. ch File at: http://files.usgwarchives.net/id/payette/obits/h/howe2257gob.txt This file has been created by a form at http://www.genrecords.org/idfiles/ File size: 1.9 Kb
