Ingalls had been in the employ of the Idaho Power Company for approximately two years and was well known in Payette. Funeral services were held in this city on Wednesday afternoon and interment make in the local cemetery. Ingalls with several other employees of the company was engaged in placing a new pole. Deceased was up on the pole making connections when he accidentally came in contact with the circuit. Just how he happened to contact the live wire is unknown as other employees knew nothing of the accident until attracted by the flash resulting from a short circuit. Ingalls was held to the pole by his safety belt and it was necessary for his comrade to release him. Artificial respiration was applied immediately and the man was rushed to the Ontario hospital where Dr. I. R. Woodward, of this city, and Dr. Palmer, of Ontario, made a futile effort to revive him. Physicians were of the opinion that Ingalls was killed instantly and his body bore evidence of most severe burns, especially on his limbs. An investigation was made immediately following the accident and all were of the unanimous opinion that the death of Ingalls was entirely accidental and all of his comrades were absolved of any blame for negligence or responsibility. Funeral services in charge of Bishop Len Christiansen of the Ontario ward of the Latter Day Saints church, were held from the Home Undertaking Parlors Wednesday afternoon and interment was in the Riverside cemetery.
