Death of E. G. Jeffries

E. G. Jeffries died at his home in Payette Tuesday night at 7:45 o'clock, 
after an illness lasting for several months. He was nearly 74 years old, 
having been born March 17, 1833, in Kentucky. He came to Payette about 12 
years ago and had made his home here since. He was married twice, three 
children being born to his first wife, all of whom are living, and 12 to his 
second wife, who survives him with nine of their children. The children are 
all in Payette, with the exception of one son and two daughters. 

The funeral will be held this morning at 10 o'clock from the family residence, 
C. M. Wickham officiating.
