Run Down By Auto At Caldwell and Killed

William Kincaid was run down and instantly killed at Caldwell last Friday noon 
by John Pipher, of Nampa.

The victim of the accident was 84 years old and a pioneer resident, coming to 
Caldwell in 1863. Before the car could be brought to a standstill he had been 
dragged half the width of the street beneath the front axle. Death was 
instantaneous, resulting from a broken back.

A verdict of the coroner's jury charged Pipher, who is a prominent citizen of 
Nampa, with criminal negligence.
