Funeral services well be held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. at the local Methodist church with Rev. E. R. Kaemmer officiating. Burial will be in the Parkview cemetery at New Plymouth with the Landon Funeral home in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Jennie A. Knight was born in Waupun, Wisconsin, August 18, 1873. In 1880 she moved to South Dakota where she married Earl V. North at Clark, South Dakota on November 24, 1897 to which union five children were born, Ella, Edward, Vera, Viva and Helen, only two of whom survive at present. She married Elwin Bruce Knight, May 19, 1920. She is a member of the Methodist Episcopal church of Payette. During her life she was active in organization work. She is a past department president of the Women's Relief Corps and at the time of her death she was a member of the Junior Club advisory committee of the National Women's Relief Corps. She was also a member of the Rebekah lodge, Portia club and American Legion auxiliary of Payette. In September, 1937, she attended the national convention of the W.R.C. and had the opportunity of visiting her old home in Brandon, Wisconsin, not having been there since the age of seven. She is survived by her husband, E. B. Knight of Payette, two daughters, Mrs. J. C. (Helen) Young of Berkeley, California, and Mrs. P. O. (Ella) Meisel of Eugene, Oregon, and four brothers, Fred L. Franklin of St. Paul, Minnesota, Charles W. Franklin of Watertown, South Dakota, Ernest Franklin of Payette, Idaho and E. H. Franklin of Salt Lake City, Utah.
