OBITUARY

Daniel L. Kostenbader was born at Eleroy, Illinois, on February 24th, 1861.  He 
was married to Mary Elizabeth Bennett at Freeport, Illinois in October 1882.
Six children were born to this union, namely B. H. Kostenbader, Crissie Tromly 
of Payette; O. C. Kostenbader of Kennard, P.; Elwyn V. Kostenbader of Payette; 
Mrs. Lloyd Richardson, Ontario, Oregon and Harry Kostenbader, who died in 
infancy.
The Kostenbader family moved to Payette, Idaho in March, 1904.  Mrs. 
Kostenbader passed away nine years ago and the eldest son, B. H. Kostenbader 
died two years ago.  Besides the children Mr. Kostenbader leaves one brother, 
Sol Kostenbader and Sunnyside, Wn.  
Funeral services were conducted from the Landon Funeral home, Thursday, at 2:30 
P. M.  Rev. C. O. Heath officiating.  Interment was made in Riverside Cemetery 
the services being in charge of the Masonic Lodge of which the deceased was a 
member for fifty years.
Mr. Kostenbader will be greatly missed by his neighbors and many old time 
friends and it is hard even now to realize that his presence is no longer with 
us.
