Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Riverside Cemetery, Payette. Rev. Earl Traughber, Church of the Brethren, Fruitland, will officiate, under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Memory Chapel, Payette. He was born Nov. 15, 1905, at Bird City, Tenn. He was raised in Tennessee and Oklahoma. He left home as a young man, and worked at numerous locations in the northwest, including working on the hangars for the Dirigibles in Tillamook during World War II. Whitey was married twice. He was a charter member of the International Order of Old Bastards Payette Chapter #4024. Survivors include a host of friends in Payette and surrounding areas.
