F. Huff, proprietor of the Cash Feed Store, received the sad news Wednesday evening, announcing the death of a nephew, living at Baker, Ore., who was killed in an auto accident on last Sunday. While the report was somewhat meager, it appears that T. C. Huff, a brother of B. F. Huff, his wife and their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lora O. Lee and two children were on their way from Baker to San Pedro, Calif., where the daughter and family were to locate. The accident occurred near Furtuna, Calif. The daughter and husband were riding in the rear car, which was struck by a passing car on a grade and knocked into a river one hundred feet below. Mr. Lee died shortly after the accident and his wife was quite seriously injured. Mr. Lee was a world war veteran and was in the service in France. The family expect to arrive in Baker Friday or Saturday.
