PAYETTE FUNERAL

Remains of Emil Marquardsen Committed to the Grave

Payette, May 4 - The funeral of Emil Marquardsen occurred today from the 
German Lutheran church, which was crowded to overflowing. The casket was 
tastefully covered with beautiful white and red roses, lillies and other 
flowers. Rev. Mr. Hansen officiated. a large concourse of people followed the 
remains to the cemetery. Thus ends what under other circumstances might have 
been a bright and a useful citizen.

Emil Marquardsen was born 28 years ago near the city of Kiel, Germany. He came 
to Payette eight years ago.
