William Martin, famillarly known as "Uncle Billy," who had for a long time been 
an employee of the Oregon Short Line at this place, on one of the sections, 
died Tuesday afternoon quite suddenly. The funeral was conducted from the 
Presbyterian church Wednesday at 2 o'clock,by the pastor, and the remains were 
followed to their last resting place in Riverside cemetery by a large number of 
old-time friends of the deceased.
