Landon's funeral home was in charge of arrangements and the Rev. F. Glenn Garner officiated. Burial was in Park View cemetery, New Plymouth. Mrs. McCarty has been an invalid the past four years. Born Adelaide V. Pierson, Feb. 5, 1863, in Ontario, Canada, she was married in 1902 to Frances G. McCarty at Kansas City, Mo. The couple came to Idaho in 1908 and have farmed southwest of New Plymouth for many years. The only near relative surviving Mrs. McCarty is a niece in Portland. Note: According to the Idaho Death Index, Adelaid McCarty was born 2-5-1863 and died 7-21-1940, Payette. ch (same paper and date - different page) OBITUARY Mrs. Addie V. Pierson McCarty, 77, passed away at the Payette hospital July 21 of old age. Mrs. McCarty was born Feb. 5, 1863, at Victoria, Canada. She married Francis G. McCarty in 1902 at Kansas City, Mo., and moved to Idaho in 1908 where they homesteaded on a ranch southwest of New Plymouth. Mrs. McCarty has been an invalid for over four years. Funeral services were held on Tuesday morning at the Baptist church with burial at Park View cemetery.
