Henry E. McClintic

Weiser-Services for Henry Elbert McClintic, 92, Payette, formerly of Weiser, 
who died Sunday in a Weiser nursing home, will be conducted at 4:30 p.m. 
Wednesday in Thomason's Northam-Jones Chapel by the Rev. Raymond Harryman, 
retired. Interment will follow in the Rosedale Memorial Park In Payette.
He was born Feb. 13, 1889, in Moscow to William Price McClintic and Lizzie Mae 
Tomer McClintic. He was reared and educated in Moscow and Nezperce. He moved to 
Indian Valley in 1910. He married Letitia (Peggy) Clapper on Nov. 17, 1915, in 
Indian Valley. He was clerk for the Pleasant View School Board for many years, 
and he served two terms as an Adams County Commissioner. In 1945 they moved to 
Council, where he worked as a carpenter. In 1949 they moved to the Sunnyside 
area near Weiser, where they farmed. They later retired and moved into Weiser. 
His wife died Dec. 6, 1973.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Waymon (Mildred) Moore of Payette and 
Dorothy Davis of Weiser; a grandson; four great-granddaughters; and a great-
great-granddaughter. He was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Thomason's Northam-Jones Chapel today from 7 to 9 p.m. and 
Wednesday from 9 a.m. to the time of the service.
Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund, in care of Mrs. C.O. Davy, P.O. Box 
144, Weiser, or to the Cancer Society in care of Don Lee, Box 630, Weiser, 
83672.
