FORMER RESIDENT DIED MONDAY
 
Word was received by local friends of the sudden death of Mrs. J. L. McDonald 
on Monday at Yakima, Washington.  Dr. and Mrs. J. L. McDonald were former well 
known residents of this city coming here a number of years ago and moving to 
Yakima in 1920.  Mrs. McDonald came to Payette as a school teacher from 
Minnesota and was married in this city.  Deceased is survived by her husband, 
Dr. J. L. McDonald and three children, Mrs. Franklin Rockwell, of Spokane, 
Washington; J. L. McDonald, Jr., who is now attending school in St. Louis, 
Mo., and Torrence, who is attending high school in Yakima.
