DEATH COMES TO ALLEN MIDDLETON

Allen Middleton, who has been sick since September at his room at the Y.M.C.A. 
building, died Monday evening of Empyema, an abcess or gathering of purulent 
matter in the pleural cavity.

Mr. Middleton was 56 years old. He came here early last spring and was 
employed at the Canning factory until ill health forced him to give up his 
work.

He was a member of the Masonic order and ever care and attention was shown to 
him by his brother masons during his illness. a brother, Wiley Middleton, of 
Iowa, came for the body and started back to the old home Tuesday afternoon.

Throughout his long illness Mr. Middleton was cheerful and made no complaint.

Note: According to the Idaho Death Index, Allen Middleton was born 3-15-1855 
and died 11-6-1911. ch
