Once more death has taken from our community another respected citizen, George Mordhorst, Jr., who has been a sufferer for the past two years with that dread disease, tuberculosis. He passed away at the home of his parents north of Payette early Wednesday morning. Not being in possession of the particulars we are unable to publish an appropriate obituary. George was a young man highly respected and was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. George Mordhorst who have lived in this community for the past twenty years. He was born in Iowa, Feb. 22, 1893. Besides a father and mother, he is survived by six brothers and two sisters. One brother made the supreme sacrifice and now lies buried into battle field of France. Funeral services were held this (Thursday) afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home conducted by Rev. Carl Rueggeberg.
