Plymouth Resident Dies Thursday
 
Wallace H. Moreland passed away at New Plymouth last Thursday, funeral 
services which were under the direction of the Peterson-Foster Funeral home 
were held Friday morning and the body was then shipped to Almeno, Kansas for 
interment.
 
Wallace Henry Moreland was born in Guthrie Center, Iowa February 16, 1871.  In 
1879 he moved with his parents to Norton County, Kansas where he grew to 
manhood and lived until 1935 when he moved to Idaho.  On December 6, 1899 he 
married Mattie Roe in Jewell County, Kansas.  No children blessed this union 
so in 1905 they took a baby girl and gave her a father's and mother's love.  
He leaves the following relatives to mourn his going, Mrs. Doris Otten of New 
Plymouth, one granddaughter, Sandra Otten of New Plymouth, three sisters, Mrs. 
Fay Winslow of Beaver City, Nebraska; Mrs. Jennie Winslow of McDonald, Kansas, 
and Mrs. Grace Nicholson of Benkelman, Nebraska, and three brothers, J. A. 
Moreland of Gooding, Idaho, R. E. Moreland of Nampa, Idaho and C. H. Moreland 
of McDonald, Kansas.
