Mrs. Sarah Neal

Sarah Ann Wilburn was born at Red Bluff, California on May 6, 1867, and passed 
away March 1, 1928. She moved with her family to the Payette Valley in 1881 
and settled about three miles east of New Plymouth. She was married to Isaac 
H. Neal in 1883, to which union twelve children were born, one dying in 
infancy. Those left to mourn her departure are the following: Mrs. Emma 
Whelchel, of Emmett; Mrs. Desda Zierlien, of Bend, Oregon; Mrs. Abbie Kerr, 
Oaksdale, Washington; John Neal, Jackson Hole, Wyoming; Ed Neal, Frenchglenn, 
Oregon; Isaac Neal, Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs. Bernice Schaffer, Garden 
Valley, Idaho; Thomas Neal, Marguerite Nichols, Mrs. Neonah Zierlien, and Miss 
Mary Neal, all of Emmett. Also her father, Will Wilburn, 14 grandchildren and 
one great grandchild.

Mrs. Neal was a member of the Baptist church, with which she united by baptism 
in 1883. Those who knew her best testify to her beautiful and helpful life. 
Her husband passed away three years ago last month.

Funeral services were held in New Plymouth Baptist church on Tuesday, March 
6th, Rev. Henry Jacobs officiating. Interment was in the Kennedy cemetery.
