Nesbitt, 73, died Saturday at an Ontario nursing home. Born February 28, 1893, in Provo, Utah, to Mr. and Mrs. Ira W. Kenward, she moved to Payette with her family in 1902 and graduated from Payette high school as valedictorian in 1911. She attended Lewiston Normal school for two years then taught at Sand Hollow school at the Westside Grade school in Payette. On June 6, 1915, she was married to Elmer H. Nesbitt of New Plymouth. After living a year in New Plymouth, they moved in 1916 to Ola, where they lived for many years. They also lived in emmett for several years before moving in 1949 to Payette. Mr. Nesbitt died December 8, 1958. She was a member of the Payette Methodist church, Harmony rebekah Lodge no. 22, the american Legion auxiliary, the Portia club and the N. G. club. She was a past noble grand of the Rebekah lodge and had served in all offices of the lodge and was chairman of her church circle at the time of her death. Surviving her are four sons, E. K. Nesbitt of Kennewick, Wash., John F. Nesbitt of York, Pa., Homer R. Nesbitt of Ola and Dale D. Nesbitt of Berkeley, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. Fred (Myrtle) Siebe of Challis, Mrs. Alva (Nancy) Goodell Jr., Nyssa, and Mrs. Gene (Iva Jaane) Fingerson of Buhl; a brother, John T. Kenward of Yuba City, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Ruth K. Cate of Pocatello, Mrs. Myrna K. Ferris of Aberdeen, Ida., and Mrs. Harry C. Logan of Payette; 25 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A son, David G. Nesbitt, died October 11, 1966, and a grandson, Brent, died last August 14. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Payette First Methodist church, by the Rev. Conrad Holmes. Interment with fraternal rites by the Rebekah lodge, will be at Riverside Cemetery in Payette under the direction of Shaffer memory chapel.
