Funeral Services For Charles Nielson Pending In Payette
 
Funeral services were being arranged today at the Shaffer Memory chapel in 
Payette for Charles B. Nielson, an Oregon Slope resident who took his own life 
yesterday afternoon by hanging.
 
His body was found in a barn on the small farm occupied by the Nielsons.  
Malheur County Deputy Coroner Jerry Sweeney pronounced the death a suicide.
 
Mr. Nielson had been a Payette resident until one year ago when he moved to 
the slope district.  

He was born Jan. 3, 1901 in Shelley, Idaho.
 
Surviving are his widow, Merle; three sons, Dean and Jerry of McCall and Jack 
of Horseshoe Bend, and one daughter, Mrs. Donna Hall of Boise.
 
The time of services will be announced by Shaffer's.
