JULIA NODLE DIES FROM INJURY Sunday morning Mrs. Julia Nodle, mother of Mrs. William Hall, while crossing the floor of the family home at the Maxfield place on the Payette-Oregon Slope, accidentally tripped and fell, injuring her right leg. Dr. J. C. Woodward was called to attend her and she was taken to the X-Ray laboratory, where an examination disclosed that she had broken the bone of her right leg near the hip. The fracture was reduced and Mrs. Nodle was removed to the home of C. H. Bowman, where she was placed under the care of Mrs. Frances Wane as nurse. She was, however, seriously shocked by the injury, and owing to the advanced age of seventy-eight, did not possess sufficient strength to survive. She died Tuesday morning about 12:30 a.m. Funeral arrangements have not yet been completed.
