A gentleman named Green, who was driving across the bridge at the time, saw the accident and unhitching one of his team, mounted and rode into the river after the child. After swimming nearly a quarter of a mile, Green recovered the body and brought it ashore, but the life was extinct. --Blackfoot Democrat.
