Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Fretwell and Mrs. Dick Ransom returned Sunday from Bend, 
Oregon, where they were called Thursday by the serious illness of Mrs. 
Fretwell's father Frank Palmer. He passed away Saturday night. funeral 
services were held at Vale, Oregon, Tuesday afternoon and interment made 
there. Mrs. Fretwell has the sympathy of her many friends here.
