Pence, 87, Route 1, Payette, died Monday morning in an Ontario hospital following a long illness. She was born October 20, 1978, at Graham, Mo. She was married to Edward Clyde Pence, April 2, 1902, at Payette. She was a member of the First church of Christian Scientists, Boston, and was a charter member of the Payette chapter, Order of Eastern. Surviving her besides her husband, are a son, Walter E. Pence, Payette; a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Angevine, Henderson, Nev.; a sister, Mrs. Ethelyn Thurston, Payette; three grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Shaffer chapel, Payette, with Christian Science Reader, Clark Sherwood officiating. Interment followed at Riverside cemetery, Payette.
