Edward C. Pence
 
Services for Edward Clyde Pence, 90, Payette, who died last Tuesday at a 
Payette nursing home after a long illness, were held Friday at the Shaffer 
Memory chapel in Payette, with the Rev. Darwin E. Secord officiating.  
Interment followed at Riverside cemetery in Payette.
 
Mr. Pence was born January 20, 1876, on Big Willow Creek.  He was married to 
Bess Venable, April 2, 1902.  She died April 11, 1966.  He was a lifetime 
resident of the Payette area.
 
Surviving him are one son, Walter E. Pence, Payette; one daughter, Mrs. 
Mildred Angevine, Henderson, Nev.; three grandchildren and 11 great-
grandchildren.
