Peterson PAYETTE-Services for Marian I. Peterson, 84, Payette, who died Friday, Oct. 14, 1983, at the home of her daughter in Boise, were conducted at 11 a.m. today at the Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Payette, with Rev. Joan LaLiberte, of St. James Episcopal Church, Payette, Officiating. Interment followed in Riverside cemetery, in Payette. Mrs. Peterson was born on March 22, 1899 in Cripple Creek, Colo., daughter of Charles and Laura Bloss. She moved with her parents to Hailey, Idaho, where she was reared and educated and she married Raymond Percy Peterson on April 17, 1920, in Boise. They moved to Payette in 1924 where they owned and operated the Peterson Cafe. He died in 1972. She was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church in Payette; the P.E.O.; and the Daughters of the Nile in Boise. She is survived by a son, William C. Peterson of Fruitland; a daughter, Betty J. Silberg of Boise; two sisters, Edna Naylor of San Francisco and Harriet McCrae of Downey, Calif.; and eight grandchildren.
