Ralph Lawrence, First United Methodist Church, Payette, under the direction of Shaffer-Jensen Chapel, Payette. He was born Oct. 18, 1887, in Grayson county, Va., where he was reared and educated. He moved to Payette in 1904. He moved to Brogan in 1913, where he homesteaded. He married Elsie Windle in 1914 at Payette. They moved to Huntington in 1917. He served as Baker County Commissioner for 34 years. He was a life member of the Association of Oregon Counties, IOOF in Huntington and the Huntington Lion’s Club. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Charles (Dora Louise) Yeates of Huntington; a sister, Nancy Todd, of Independence, Va.; three grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.
