JOHN M. PITCHER

John M. Pitcher, well known here for many years passed away at the Ontario 
Hospital, Saturday November 4th, following an illness of but a few days, the 
cause of his death being ulcers of the stomach.  The deceased was born at Terra 
Haute, Indiana, April 14th, 1867.  He came to Payette in 1906 and has since 
made his home here.  He is survived by four children, B. R. Pitcher of Salem, 
Oregon, Fred Pitcher of Seattle, Mrs. Vie Meyers of Seattle and Mrs. K. L. 
Johnson of Payette.  The funeral wash held from the Landon Funeral Home Monday 
afternoon, conducted by Rev. Taylor of Weiser and interment made in Riverside 
Cemetery.
