Rites Held Thursday For Mrs. Mona Grace Preston

Services for Mrs. Mona Grace Preston, 67, of Payette were held at Shaffer 
Memory chapel Thursday with the Rev. Bert R. Iddins of the Payette Baptist 
church officiating. Interment was at Riverside.

Mrs. Preston died Monday in Hermiston, Ore.

Born July 5, 1885 at Council Bluffs, Iowa, Mrs. Preston came to Payette in 
1894. Her husband, Herbert E. Preston, died in 1924.

Survivors include three sons, Scott Preston of Hagerman, Boyd Preston of 
Wendell and William Preston of Seattle, Wash.; three daughters, Mrs. Grace 
Reavis of Seattle, Mrs. Shumaker, and Mrs. Margaret Johns of Gridley, Cal.; a 
brother, Frank Myers of Burns, Ore.; and a sister, Mrs. Maude Babcock of 
Caldwell; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
